All right, all right, 'fess up. Who did it?
Who stuck the "Impeach Bush" sticker on the mailboxes outside of the post office at 73rd Terr and Mission in Prairie Village? I drove by on Saturday to drop off a letter and much to my surprise (and delight) someone had stuck this sticker over the collection times display.

It looked to be a pre-printed label in blue ink.

So who did it? Don't you know you're going to cause a lot of headaches in the Red Zone?

Keep up the good work! So many mailboxes, so little time.

1. Hot damn!
Go PV!!

I will admit I have been doing some public blogging myself lately but I haven't hit PV yet.

Do you live around there? I am a PV girl myself. We just moved my mom to a nursing home in KC so for the first time since 1954 no one in my family lives in PV.

2. Yeah, moved to PV in 1988
Bought what we considered to be our "starter home." Turns out it will be our "finisher home." Small for a family of four, but we're trying to do a little remodeling to make it more comfortable.

We're in PV right in between Mi$$ion Hill$ and Leawood.

Say, have you seen the house (not mine) on Roe Ave, near W. 63rd St? It's had anti-Bush signs in its front yard for a few years now. Clever creations...I drive slow to read them when I'm traveling on Roe.

3. Yes! He is a member of our Peace Group and a friend of mine
and he just won a court battle with the city of PV over those signs. The ACLU represented him. He is a really neat guy and he makes the best signs!

Do you remember on March 19 at our big rally at Nichols Park there was an oil well in the tulip bed with a red umbrella and red oil/blood was running down the well? He made that.

He also has a life size bush that he brings and dresses in various outfits. The latest addition is a yellow string coming out between his legs - signifying he is LEAKING. LOL

Come down to Nichols Park on a Sunday from 4 to 5 or to 63 and Ward Parkway from 5 to 6 on Tuesdays and you can meet him.

I grew up in PV on 73 between Belinder and Cherokee. Then when I was in high school, my parens moved to 67 and Nall. I love PV. Wish I could afford to live there.

4. Hey! Small world, eh?
I live on 73rd between Belinder and State Line! Nice area!

I remember the Nichols Park rally, but sadly I don't remember the oil well. I drive by the 63rd and Ward Parkway gathering every Tuesday, however, that's my night to pick up my son so I can't stop and join in.

I'm sure I'll run into him at some time...

6. Until I was 6
we lived on Springfield between 73rd and 75th. One of my memories from then is our next door neighbor shooting squirrels in the trees in his yard and then having a big neighborhood barbecue.

But I am assuming that doesn't happen anymore. LOL

5. "Captain, it is I, Ensign Pulver, and I just threw your stinking palm tree
overboard!

Now what's all this crud about no movie tonight!!!"

The subject line reminded me of that movie.

7. It was me.
I have so much fun putting those assorted stickers on things. They're just mailing labels that I print up with various phrases. Nothing permanent that would get me in trouble for vandalism or anything. My favorite targets are Bush bumper stickers. I also took a couple whole sheets in the Hen House on 83rd & Mission and put 60 "Dear America, Thanks for all the money. Sorry about the dead kids. -Halliburton" stickers on various products while I was shopping.

I love the signs at that house on Roe. I'm not surprised the city tried to remove them. Bastards. Someday I've gotta get time to come down to the plaza on a Sunday.

Check back again! I'll put up some more!! HA HA HA!
