1. thanks for the link
I love the idea of banging on pots and pans like the women did in the Oaxaca protest. I want Bush to hear us!!

Don't forget to post the link in the Missouri forum, too.

4. I don't think that is it either
I just drove by the other night. The house is not on Ward Parkway. It is on 55th. I think it is the one in the middle of this photo.

Could somebody submit this info to the KC group and ask them
to recirculate it widely?

7. I signed up for the google group
but starting getting lost as to who was replying to whom. What's the latest status on this. I'd like to get the information out in coherent form to interested others.

8. That's what's been buggin' me.
I mean, we have a web site that performs all kinds of functions (dfha.org), albeit clunkily, and then we have to add Google groups (which I really detest). The messages are scattered all over the place and it makes it tough to keep track of what's current.
Sorry, I'm grouchy tonight.

Normally I don't mind threadjacking with you, but I think this one needs to be a PM. Watch for it.

11. Go to the group
Edited on Sat Sep-02-06 07:50 AM by proud2Blib
and read the messages as a tree. That makes them flow together better.

And yes, we do need to post this info at dfha. We can simplify it for our readers.

Here's the simple message - we will start gathering at 1:00 or 1:30 at 55 and Ward Parkway. el pretzeldente will arrive at 4 or 4:30. Our big crowd should be at Loose Park by 3:00 and in the median by 3:30.

Do you want a ride? I can swing by and pick you up before I go. I am planning on getting there early - around 1 or 1:30.

12. Welcome to the KC progressive community
:)

There is a flyer. I will email it to you. It's a pdf and I don't know how to post that here.

Do you need directions? Are you guys coming early? You can come to my house and follow me if you want. I know all the good parking spots in that neighborhood. I went to high school just a few blocks from there and have parking experience in the Ward Parkway neighborhood. It was after dark parking experience but I know I can find those same spots in the daytime :)

Anyone who wants more details, PM me. (Not details about my high school parking experience, but about the Sep 8 event).

16. Thank you. Printed it and handed it out at the DL meetup tonight
We had the Gore and "Drinking Liberally" meetups tonight. I printed out the flyer and handed it out to everyone. I also invited everyone to the Westport Flea Market afterwards and made it clear that they were invited whether or not they attended the protest.
