Its a home game, so she isn't traveling, and the 'Hawks don't play until this evening, so she can't be glued to the TV screen yet. Maybe she and her hubby are shopping for a BIG screen though.

Nope, slept in. I stayed up late last night knowing the Jay Bilas was somewhere in town. I thought about trying to find him so I could sit at his feet and look up worshipfully at him while he waxed insightfully about my Jayhawks.

My personal big news of the week is that I'm finally going to Yankee Stadium. Just bought 4 tickets behind home plate on the 4th of July. One BU will be gone, but another will be there.

As to Edwards, I caught very little this morning, mainly the squirm on gay marriage. I had to walk the beast. I like him a lot on domestic policy but as to foreign policy, as Gore says (11th Commandment), "thou shalt not criticize a fellow Democrat." Therefore, to quote the immortal Rockne: "I am forced to punt!"

I slept in. Now I'm watching Wichita State play So. Illinois in a Mo-Val game. WSU is down by 4 right now.

I've already spent half the morning puking my guts up. I got stupid this morning and thought I could eat before 11 a.m. I woke up starving so I made some eggs and toast. Simple food but apparently not simple enough. For some reason, no matter what I eat, my system doesn't like/tolerate food before 11. In the afternoons I can eat whatever I want.

Anyway, I've now relived my breakfast several times. I'm going to go lay down for a while and let my stomach recuperate. I just wish I knew what time zone my body is on because I know it isn't on central time.
