WWWD This Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

Join us for another installment of What Would Woody Do?(WWWD), where songwriting meets politics.

This month we'll be at the Main Street Coffeehouse at 107 S. Main in lovely downtown Independence, MO on Saturday, February 24th, starting at 7:00 and going until at least 10:00.

1. That's it, I'm moving

You guys have the greatest activities ever. I would love to go to that.

Once a year, I go back to Newport RI, where I was born for family reunions. My aunt, Sister Mary Pendergast, Srs of Mercy has a retreat at the convent where they devote the whole day of singing political songs/folk songs encouraging all to take back our country. At the very least it charges me up to keep up the good fight from this "red" town that saps my strength.

You must let me know how this WWWD goes.

2. We have one a month

Some of the musicians are great and others are well, inspired. But it is always a fun evening.
