How many cops does it take to subdue one man?

Apparently quite a few, if the ruckus last night at the gas station next door is any indication. It was about 11:30 or so when I heard a police siren really close. Then some guy yelled, "Get out of my fucking way!" and of course I had to see what was going on. Four of the LPD had one guy up against the side wall of the store. They weren't hitting him or anything, but I heard somebody yell and I wonder if they used the taser (I also saw that one of the cops was holding something that looked like one). As they walked him to one of the cars, two more cops came. Then a few more. By the time they were done I think there were at least 8 or 9 there. But there was only ONE GUY!

It takes a little more to subdue somebody if you are trying not to hurt them.

They stopped you for not wearing a seatbelt? Six cars? OY!

So I don't know what it was all about.

When two cops were called to Greg Sevier's house to stop him from committing suicide they shot him to death (six times, once through the heart). I'd rather have a dozen cops show up for something and be able to walk away alive then have two show up and shoot me.
