A 3rd CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT FORUM ON WAR AND PEACE
Tuesday, April 18, 2006 7:30 pm

First Unitarian Church at Fourth and York Streets Louisville Kentucky

John Yarmuth
Andrew Horne
James Moore

Congressional candidates for the Third District discuss with the
public their views on the Iraq war and on war in general.

* Is the Iraq War justifiable as a means of spreading freedom and
democracy?

* Is the problem in Iraq mismanagement of the war or the decision to
go to war?

* Does the Bush principle of pre-emptive war set a precedent that
any nation, including Iran and North Korea, may claim?

* Is the alternative to warfare diplomacy, isolation, or stronger
international institutions?

* In an age of weapons of mass destruction can warfare be a practical
means of solving problems?
