local radio
Shout out to my fellow kyians.
I have a request. Is there anyone out there who can provide me with any information about liberal radio broadcasting available in the Louisville area. I drive a local delivery truck and the radio is my only companion.Music is OK and widely available, but I prefer hearing about other's ideas, thoughts etc
Currently, the only game in town seems to be limpballs, the addict.so that's what I listen to(know the enemy) in the pm.
But to be honest I am often on the verge of some sort of cranial meltdown listening to his s**t. No details required I hope.
Anyway, anybody here have any recommendations about what's available here in Lou,KY

1. I think a new station is coming
a progressive station.
I know they were fundraising last month and they have been approved for the license. As soon as I hear more I will update here.

3. Last I heard Mike Ward's show was airing at 6am
Wouldn't want to muddle poor people's minds in a decent time slot, ya' know.

Mike Ward is good. Just wish I could catch him more often. He doesn't even try to be political correct - he just lets it fly. Wish Franken would learn a thing or two from him.

Glad to hear about new liberal station cranking up in the area. I listen to AAR from the computer.

5. Mike Ward is gone
I liked him, he wasn't exactly a radio ready person though I didn't think... but he has been off the air since June due to financial difficulties (see http://kydem.blogspot.com/2005/06/mike-wards-show-ends.html).

Personally, I listen to WCKY (the Air America affiliate out of Cincy)... it comes in okay in the car radio in certain parts of Louisville.
