Mary Landrieu-DINO...she's finally completely LOST her MIND!!
...for this I'll NEVER vote for her EVER AGAIN! :puke:

.....here's a thread I started TODAY...completely oblivious of her actions!! :(

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x1749033

And the day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the supreme being as his father in the womb of a virgin will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerve in the brain of Jupiter. But may we hope that the dawn of reason and freedom of thought in these United States will do away with this artificial scaffolding, and restore to us the primitive and genuine doctrines of this most venerated reformer of human errors.

-Thomas Jefferson, Letter to John Adams, April 11, 1823

1. Oh, God, here we go again with the invocations of the first presidents,
Washington, Madison, Jefferson, and Adams (and others) had opinions on Christianity that could be called ambiguous. For every positive thing said, they said something neutral or negative.

2. Hey there...so what's your point?
....this is yet another example of how my *DEM* Senator is doin' the PUKES work for 'em...and ignoring her BASE that got her obvious DINO ass elected in the first place! :(

5. Perhaps her 'base' IS conservative Democrats
And she is just representing them. It does not appear that there are many liberal Democrats in LA. The voters of LA don't seem to send many of them to Congress or the Governor's mansion.

6. Louisiana Democrat... the conundrum unwound.
I'm moderate. I'm pro-choice. I'm pissed at shrub. I'm married to a bleeding heart liberal pro-lifer. She's not even Catholic, she's U/U.

Damn, there are a lot of folks under this tent.

7. Nahhh....only REAL DEMS like Heuy P. and Earl Long...Edwin Edwards.....
....it's the DINO's that've been sent to Congress for YEARS like BREAUX and EWING...and LANDRIEU that give DEMOCRATS a BAD name nowadays! :eyes:

8. So why do LA voters keep sending 'fake Dems' to Congress?
Could it be that these people are actually more in tune with Louisianians than the 'real Dems' are?

11. Well to me...there's no such thing as *conservative* democrat....
....that's an oxymoron...they...Mary and John both voted for all the tax cuts...that's enough *right* there to know they're not representing my democratic values...and sayin' their against Bush's plicy but have voted with him more so than not since he was elected....Mary's entire platform was against Terrell's backin' from the pukes..yet she's been up their asses ever since...and Breaux is as well and always has been....now Rodney Alexander my Rep in the House has voted straight down the line with them too after runnin' against John Coocksey up here...he even went so far as to say for a bit he was gonna change his party affiliation...and may as well since he's voted with 'em.

And a side note about Mary...her husband and my SO's Dad were long time friends up untill she became a Senator....durin' her first term she made the comment to her hubby that she didn't understand why he remained friends with such people anymore...like they were BETTER than the people who CAMPAIGNED for her ass NOW...heh that SPEAKS VOLUMES to what her actions have produced since her re-election. Makes me wonder if there weren't some kind of mind altering substances in the CIPRO all the Senators were givin' after the ANTHRAX scare post 9/11 :tinfoilhat: but it sure would explain the cow towin' and plain weak DEM representation the whole country has seen from our side ever since then! :(

12. The voters of LA seem to be happy with them
Not only do they elect them, they reelect them despite their records. Breaux has been elected three times to the Senate. Landreau has been elected twice.

.....alternative....it's DEM LITE or total PUKE...lesser of two evils which has become common place throughout the political arena...and what's made the gov't impotent and the populous indifferent.

If it were, he would be sitting in Congress right now. Apperently the voters don't always pick the one who spends the most money.

25. Your premise was that it was all about money
If that were the case, the candidate who spent the most money would get the most votes. The Alexander vs. Fletcher race disproves this premise.

.....the Alexander/Fletcher wasn't even the PRIMARY...it was the GENERAL election. :wtf:

You've disproved absolutely nothing...only given an irrelevant and fallacious arguement....why I've not a clue and am quite through with discussing this further with you...I've stated my reasons for my opinion...which doesn't suit you for whatever reason. Peace.

Whenever somebody tells me that they know Mary Landrieu I think to myself "Good for you, you know the most ineffective member of the US Senate."

16. Becuase the democratic party is well organized here
We're the only deep southern state to hold on to a democratic establishment after Georgia fell to the Republicans. The do a very good job of painting the GOP as a bunch of racists and religious nuts.

30. Mary's website-disgrace to the dem party
Hi,
i am ok with her votes, but her site is a shambles.

Over a year of word from me to her, emails, and still no repair of her site.

Popups appear unclicked and float across the wording. Plus a dozen other glitches.

Also, no easy way to email her on issues. Jefferson has "write a message", no fields to fill in.
Mary has umpteen fields. seems she doesnt want to hear from folks. Complain about it, and i get boilerplate that is over a year old.

Impression: a senate office in shambles.
