Like the reason we are prolonging the conflict in iraq? could it be if we had established more troops in 2003 and secured the resistance before it got going we'd be better off for a supply of oil?
or did we prolong the misery so a certain group could control it.for if we did they blew it!
and now the solution will be more blood spilled with a negative gain for oil in our part of the world

with any of the articles on the front page of Bloomberg? I see over at Bloomburg the obvious oil price rise, but that's mainly due to the current cold snap. Then there is an article on reduction in insurance offered to those susceptible to hurricanes, but I'm not really getting what you're trying to point out.

and turned up a thread on Waxman's probe into Bush's supposed manipulation of climate change evidence. As Bloomberg's news obviously is influenced by climate change, I assumed that was the link you were trying to make. It might help if you provided direct links in your original post so that others of us can be sure of what you speak.

You are correct that I do occaisionally post thoughts on As Maine Goes. So what? If you have been on that site, I suspect you have posted there too. I have always believed it is important to have a conversation with people to learn what they are thinking and to form opinions on different issues. I have found this helps me be better informed before forming an opinion and is better than just espousing a one sided arguement with no consideration of a different point of view. This doesn't mean I agree or disagree with everything on this or that site. Doesn't this make some logical sense?
