1. Let's hope not

The voters are simply not knowledgeable enough to responsibly decide on how government should be spending its money. Let's leave those decisions to the folks that we've elected and put in charge. The average person can't even manage their own check book, let alone something as complicated as a state budget.

but what sticks in my craw is that "becker" still wants it to be controlled by a small body of people. read his new version,re-worded but still same message. a few will control.
take a look at as maine goes comments on this subject.same folks for it.
smells like a skunk in new clothing to me!
