Poll question: Maine Presidential Preference Poll - Round 2
Edited on Wed Jan-30-08 07:19 PM by jpak
Who will be your candidate in the Feb. 10th Maine Democratic Caucus???

Note: there may be no clear Democratic front runner after Super Duper Tsunami Tuesday - Maine's caucus results will be important to the national delegate race.

Here are the results from Round 1...

1. What about undecided as an option?
That's what I am for the first time in a long time during this election season. The withdrawal of my candidate John Edwards has left me quite confused about which way to go. I am considering still caucusing for John Edwards if that's an option, although I am also reluctantly considering going for Obama. I will also say that I find some things that I like about Hillary such as her pragmatic approach and history of working on women's and children's issues. So at this point I am genuinely undecided.

Bring a friend more if possible that favor your candidate. Otherwise the party pro's will control the vote. It is hard to go against the status quo in a caucus.
Make an observation when you first enter,it doesn't take long to see who tries to control the setting.

3. I miss Edwards...
Don't get me wrong...there are great things about Obama & Hillary, but I really liked his anti-corporate outlook...Our main problems today stem from corporations running amuck. I'll probably vote Obama just for the freshness (I do have a problem with 28 years of Bush's & Clinton's...). But, I was excited to vote for Edwards, and don't have the same excitement for the other two candidates...

4. yes he's a good man

I hope that all the candidates get a chance to be in the next administration.they all had good points. and each one appeals to somebody.I thought BIDEN was the best as far as foreign policy went. but felt I wouldn't see him on the ballot. But he would make a fine asset to the cabinet

I liked him a lot...As you said, foreign policy-wise he was second to none...
