Official: Coast Guard City Rockland

With this prestigious designation, Rockland becomes only the ninth community in the country to be named a Coast Guard city. The others include Grand Haven, Mich.; Eureka, Calif.; Mobile, Ala.; Morgan City, La.; Wilmington, N.C.; Newport, Ore; Almeda, Calif.; and Kodiak, Alaska.

Is the Synergy Display permanent or does it rotate throughout the nine communities
and where and when can it best be viewed, I'd hate to miss it on my next trip to
Rockland, oops, I mean "Official Coast Guard City."
