Here's the ultimate stocking stuffer that's uniquely Maine
A "Best of Dick Stacey's Country Jamboree"! No joke...this was better than Saturday Night Live back when it was a regular late Saturday night local program up here in the Bangor area. Of course, you had to be in the right head to truly appreciate it. Before American Idol, there was Dick Stacey and his Jamboree. Hopefully, they have Dick's commercials featuring his motel and his gas station. "See these hands? These hands pump gas, so you don't have to..."

Truly, a collector's item...

been their done that-spent many nights in both places : worked on dow and interstate- spent many a night at myrtles in orono! and the red barn in brewer
- any one in here remember the cave in downtown bangor?
gosh even laid out the state maintance garrage -Burke was the foreman and we fished pemmadumcook lake with herbie king that summer!
god I'm getting old!
I also visited stacy's in Calais a few times! had a fantastic job traveling all over Maine!
Met lots of nice people and ate in some mighty good places! the best were not always the fanciest!
but the lancy house, the candlelight, stacy's ,moody's dinner and the pilot grill
always will be remembered!as well as the hot dog place in bangor ,harmon's in brewer, jenny lees in east millenocket and of course reds lobster rolls in wiscaset and of course millers! the pies at the little restraunt on the airline just to many to mention!
the latest an greatest now is bayhaven in cornish! skip breakfeast an lunch then plan on taking a doggie bag home-great food and plenty of it!

Friends in Newfoundland still rave about it...

And, I remember one night when a bunch of drunken UMO students tried to sing "My Ding-a-ling". Stacey went ape shit and literally thew them off camera.

priceless
