keeping an eye on the other guy

It is kind of humorous to see the other side attack each other at the New Hampshire conservative meeting. You also can see the texas gov. (3% of the polls vote) attack one of the front runners. A cheap shot across the bow with little chance of scoring.
I'm sure the deep pockets of Texas must be scrambling for help to boost all that money they have invested as he proceeds to drop in the polls.

1. bigotry is their platform

If you watched the NH debates you see what some of the candidates really are like. I see an underlining trait that bothers me.
In this day and age when we americans need to meld together to try and salvage this decaying nation bigotry is the last thing we need !Bigotry comes in various ways.My religion is better than yours(meaning i'm superior to you)
my house is :newer, bigger ,in a better neighborhood etc.
my job is more important than yours,I make more money,I wear white shirts and ties etc.
my skin is white, you speak with an accent etc.

this is just one example :
The Perry campaign, now in damage control mode, has responded with a statement that “The governor does not believe Mormonism is a cult.” But Perry’s ties to overtly anti-Mormon tendencies include his alliance with the rapidly growing movement on the charismatic evangelical right known as the New Apostolic Reformation, whose leading figure C. Peter Wagner has also labeled Mormonism a cult and whose top leaders (Wagner included) advise burning books of Mormon.

On September 28th, 2009, as described in an August 3, 2011 story in the Texas Observer, members of C. Peter Wagner’s New Apostolic Reformation blessed Governor Perry, in a private ceremony at the governor’s office in the Texas State House. On August 6th 2011, standing alongside Wagner apostle Alice Patterson (who has endorsed a book attacking Martin Luther King, Jr.), Rick Perry addressed (link to video of full Perry speech) tens of thousands assembled at Houston’s Reliant Stadium for The Response.

Really is this what we seek in a president? Isn't it time we tried to move forward and present ideas, that the media stop giving space to the wingdinger (dirt slinger) and reward actual ideas that will help this country to get back to work-to point out these people who represent foreign money, the companies that import goods and export jobs.
Hey we are broke! and Reagan and Bush had as much to do with it as clinton and Obama!
so its time we got someone in congress who is watching out for us. not just trying to screw the other party!
