Boycott Sinclair Broadcasting's Auto Dealerships in MD
Sinclair Broadcasting also has a company named Sinclair Ventures, which owns Summa Holdings which owns Mile One Corporation which owns a set of auto dealerships. The whole conglomerate is controlled by the 4 Smith brothers.

I suggest we contact those dealerships and let them know we will not support the owners of Sinclair Broadcasting by buying cars from them or bringing them in for service.

These sets of dealerships are Heritage in the Baltimore Area, Herb Gordon in Silver Spring and Tischer in Silver Spring.

Looks like there are a number of business ventures that we can avoid and make like more difficult for.

3. Done
I won't buy any cars from them (not that I can afford one anyway).

These 4 Smith Brothers -- they're not the cough drop Smith Brothers, right?

5. How to stop Sinclair
The message is on point. However, based upon what I just saw on GMA this morning, Sinclair is not remotely interested in anything but blackmailing Kerry into an interview.

My two cents???

Let's mobilize every Democrat nationwide not to call the stations, BUT THE ADVERTISERS...flood them with calls and emails. We will do no business, buy no products from you. We will continue to call and email. We will picket YOUR business. Call the parent networks of the stations they own.

And let's remember this when they let little Prince Bobby "use" their corporate helicopter in two years...

One thing Sinclair understands...advertising dollars. When their advertisers start yelling, they may re-think their position

John

6. Why am I not surprised. My Mile One story
About a year and half ago, I was car shopping and went to a Mile One dealer. They didn't have the car I wanted, but found one at another dealership. The salesman called me and told me that would only get the car if I agreed to purchase it beforehand. Since I hadn't test driven it, I said no. There was also a question of price, he kept telling me the invoice was several thousand more than I knew it was. At which point he slid into the ultimate sleaze of car salesman and invoked god, saying "That he was a good Christian man and that he wouldn't lie to me." He said this about 5 times. I politely told him I didn't give a damn about his religion and was not agreeing to the price. At which point, the good Christian swore at me and hung up on me. His manager called me later and asked "What happened to the deal?" Ha. I told him not to worry, that I had no intention of ever buying a car from them. Needless to say, I've already been boycotting the Mile One group.
