Funny re: Ehrlich: Does anyone drive Route 4 from Upper Marlboro into DC?
Edited on Mon Nov-06-06 09:06 PM by bertha katzenengel
This morning on the way into DC for an interview, I saw *ahem* a sight. Between Dowerhouse Road and Suitland Parkway, some desperate Ehrlich fan had absolutely littered the wide grassy divide with Ehrlich yard signs. I mean, LITTERED. They were perhaps three feet apart, in two rows, all up one side of the divide and down the other. Whoever did this had gone twice all around the divide -- there were two rows of these things. There were hundreds.

On my way HOME from DC at about 3:00 PM, there was one poor State Highway Administration guy, yanking those signs out and throwing them into his yellow van. Of course I don't take this to mean the SHA supports O'Malley; I take it to mean SHA saw this as a nuisance, or even a violation of law.

But still. It warmed my heart.

:woohoo:

2. Actually it is illegal
and I bet you there is one less vote for Ehrlich, and maybe more if he complained to family and friends.

3. Ha! Good way to start the day as an election judge
It is way too early in the a.m., but I had to check into DU, particularly the MD Forum. In Balt. Co. I have noticed those giant Ehrlich signs are back up - that they are illegal makes no nevermind to the Ehrlich camp. The violators get a warning and then 30 days to take them down. So they had a window, they took it.

Have a wonderful day. Hopefully this is the beginning of a new improved USA and MD.

4. I saw it. The Ehrlich and Steele signs were all over north and south bound
median and shoulders. I am sure the Republicans lost some votes with that shit.
