If Capuano became Senator it could open the door for Congressman Ben Affleck
that would be something a Capuano supporter wouldn't in their right mind have uttered a few years back but I think the international anti-Affleckism that swept the globe during the Daredevil/Gigli years has died down and especially those who have seen his multiple great appearances on Real Time with Bill Maher can now put behind them.

I just thought I'd point out that Ben is from Capuano's district and I know he's made it pretty clear he'd like to take a stab at political office somewhere down the road. He's probably not looking to shift his career for some decades to come but you never know.

3. Why not leave Capuano where he is and keep his Congressional
seniority?

4. 'Cause he already decided he's running for Senate.
His ads are all over the TV.

5. Because we have more than enough Purple Snakes in the Senate. The person who
replaces Kennedy should vote like Kennedy did. Seniority in the House is not as critical a need as replacing Kennedy with a progressive Senator, rather than with another Purple Snake.
