CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — A Massachusetts state senator who injured two people in a hit-and-run accident has pleaded guilty and been sentenced to six months of home confinement.

Sen. Anthony Galluccio, a Democrat, pleaded guilty on Friday to leaving the scene of the Oct. 4 accident in his hometown of Cambridge.

The 42-year-old has said he made a "serious error in judgment" when he drove away after his SUV rear-ended another vehicle. A 13-year-old boy and his father had minor injuries.

In Cambridge District Court on Friday, Galluccio said he deeply regrets his actions.

4. He has a drinking problem and needs treatment. He also should be in jail.
The Cambridge cops have been protecting him far too long.

5. BREAKING NEWS ON HIS "sentence" to home confinement...and

how he was VIOLATED this morning, in a "random" in-home sobriety test.

HE FAILED!!!

So the judge actually believed this clown could stay home and not drink, and, low and behold, 96 hours after "sentencing" to home confinement, on a Tuesday morning, mind you, (when most of us work Monday to Friday), this joker failed a sobriety test, a condition of his sentence, to stay sober.

Mass will put this joker in jail in 2010, no question about it. Mass voters are up in arms about this light sentence for a drunk who fled a hit-and-run accident.
