Why is WZLX apolitical

This morning I was listening to WZLX, Boston's is "classic rock" station. http://www.wzlx.com/

I've often wondered why they (and come to think of it WBCN) were apolitical. Well, let me rephrase that. Two weeks ago their morning personality was on vacation, in his place they had neocon heavy metal thug David Lee Roth

This morning, in the middle of a series of commericals, they played a very fast snippette, "the contents of wzlx' studios are provided by our content parnter, AOL". I imagine studio equipment is quite expensive. What the hell does "content" mean? The words they say? The music? The equipment?

Do you think the reason wzlx and other FM is apolitical, is that they have exchanged a gagg for "content"?

they sure have gone down hill since the 80's - classic rock my ass!

Especially running up to the 2004 election. One DJ in particular always bashed dems. Since then, I will not be listening to WZLX.
