Meet Howard Dean in Boston June 20

...if you have the cash. The "grassroot" people I know cannot afford $100-$500.

If Dean were truly interested in the grassroots, hold the event IN A FIELD and avoid the cost of the Park Plaza.

What democratic donor is going to pay $100 for a fundraiser in a field? Events in fields should, and often are, free to the public (at least democratic events).

2. Call it what it is, an appeal to traditional donors in a suit environment

I do NOT associate the GRASS ROOTS with the Park Plaza.

I know many involved in grassroots, who can't really afford that. :(
