Poll question: Governor
Announced candidates are Tom Reilly and Deval Patrick. In the wings is Bill Galvin. Who are you supporting?

2. I've always wondered how he won in Massachusetts. How did this...
happen? Massachusetts seems to be such a progressive state; I didn't think that a Republican would have the chance to become its governor.

3. Faux cleverness.

The general attitude of the Massachusetts voter is that spending is too high. They figured, as they have in the past, that a Republican governor would act as a check to the congress.

Of course now that neocons are exposing themselves as big spenders, that will not happen this time, hopefully.

4. Deval Patrick
is a wonderful human being, and a true progressive. He already has the endorsements from Robert Reich and Barack Obama. The thing im nervous about is him getting his name out, once the campaign starts. The same talk you hear nationally how Hillary has the pres. nomination sewed up, which we know is far from true, they are saying the same about Tom Reilly, and hes such a opportunist, cowering to anyone he can to try and get people to like him. If Patrick gets the nomination, the only way I see him losing is if Romney DOESNT run, and Lt Gov Healey does, cause she gives off this liberal conservative vibe, and people may eat it up like they did when Romney ran in 02.

5. Romney is not running. He has stopped fundraising for now...
It seems very clear he is not going to risk being beaten. He wants to run for President.

For the rest, I like what I have seen and heard of Patrick, but need to know a little more about him.
