Join the Massachusetts Victory '06 Campaign
Dear Fellow Democrat,

Just over a year from today, Democrats in Massachusetts and across
America will head to the polls to demand change. In 2006, they will
send the Republican Party a clear message that we will no longer
tolerate the ineptitude, corruption and cronyism displayed by our
current leadership.

Starting today, more than 365 days from Election Day '06, we are
launching a statewide coordinated campaign effort we call the Mass
Victory '06 Campaign. This is the largest Democratic grassroots
campaign effort ever in Massachusetts and will ensure the re-election
of our great Senator Ted Kennedy and the election of many other
Democrats at the federal and state levels.

Here in Massachusetts , we have been exceedingly successful in
electing fellow Democrats. However, the governorship has remained
beyond our grasp. Next year is the year we will change that. Next
year, we take back the Corner Office.

*To kick off our coordinated campaign, I am inviting you to join Sen.
John Kerry and me at our party headquarters this Sunday for a
gathering of Democratic leaders and activists. John Kerry has
committed to building a strong grassroots organization in
Massachusetts that helps Democrats win up and down the ballot in 2006.
More information about the event can be found here. LINK*

This campaign can only be successful with your help. We need Democrats
across the state to lead their neighborhoods during this campaign. You
can do this by becoming a Mass Victory '06 Precinct Captain. You will
be trained to implement local strategies for voter registration,
persuasion, Get-Out-The-Vote, and other projects within the campaign.

I have already become a Precinct Captain, and I am asking fellow
Democrats to follow. Becoming a Precinct Captain, Block Captain or
Action Squad Member is the number one thing you can do to help fellow
Democrats. Nothing is more important to a successful campaign than
voter-to-voter contact and no person is more persuasive with voters
than neighbors like you!

To get involved in the effort in your hometown, sign up here: <1>

In the coming weeks, you will hear from state and national Democratic
leaders who have committed themselves to offering a positive
alternative to the Republican agenda. Please join us in ensuring that
this time next year we will elect fellow Democrats who will offer a
bright future for Massachusetts and America .

Phil Johnston
Chairman
The Massachusetts Democratic Party
