We just got the word earlier today that the Fox network is bringing David Parker to their New York studios on Wednesday, Oct. 9, for an appearance on their live daytime show "Fox Dayside" which will air at 1 pm EST that day.

We haven't seen that show before (we don't get to watch much daytime TV these days) but it apparently has an "unusual" news format. We'll try to post a clip of it soon, in case you miss it.

=== 2. Parker & lawyers to meet with Lexington superintendent on Nov. 15 to discuss ban from school property. ===

It's been almost seven months that the town of Lexington has banned David Parker from all school property, under threat of arrest for trespassing. Last month the Middlesex County District Attorney decided that Lexington's criminal charge against Parker is too ridiculous to try to fight -- especially since Parker indicated he would not back down -- so they abandoned it.

But superintendent Paul Ash not only won't back down, he has become even more hostile. In September Ash announced that now in Lexington schools:

taff has no obligation to notify parents of discussions, activities, or materials that simply reference same-gender parents or that otherwise recognize the existence of differences in sexual orientation. Accordingly, I expect teachers to continue to allow children access to such activities and materials...

This is a first in the country -- certainly for arrogance!

And Ash has continued to impose the ban keeping Parker off all school property, despite written pleas from Parker's attorneys. In the opinion of a lot of people, this is nothing more than a punitive act meant to intimidate anyone else from standing up to the schools on this issue. And to add to it, Ash has publicly misrepresented Parker's actual requests (see #3, below).

Well, a few days ago Parker learned through a lawyer for the Lexington schools that Ash has agreed to meet with Parker and his lawyers on Nov. 15 and "discuss" it. Stay tuned.

=== 3. View clip of David Parker incident on ABC World News Tonight -- Lexington superintendent completely misrepresents Parker's demand! ===

In case you missed the October 19 broadcast of the ABC World News Tonight -- report of the David Parker controversy, we now have it here. Although the left-wing bias of the ABC news staff is pretty transparent, it's not as bad as you'd expect. But still, we were there for much of the filming, and out of about an hour of material the sound bites they used certainly didn't reflect the excellent points that were made by David Parker, and yours truly, in the full interview.

Also interesting: The pro-homosexual activist from Lexington states that there's "no middle ground" and that if homosexuality isn't taught in the lower grades it would be "doing a disservice to children."

But worse, the superintendent of Lexington, Paul Ash, completely misrepresents Parker's demands. Ash says, with a straight face, "We cannot assure you what a child's going to say and we can't immediately stop a discussion that you find objectionable."

But Parker has said over and over again he has no interest in controlling what kids say to anyone -- only what adults say to his son. Ash knows this, and has continued to misrepresent it publicly.
