It’s No Laughing Matter!
On March 19th, Massachusetts political leaders will attend the annual
St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast at the Boston Convention Center, to joke and laugh.

On March 19th, military families, Veterans and our supporters will be marking this day
as the 3rd Anniversary of the war in Iraq, a war that should never have happened.
Politicians will be ribbing and roasting each other on the day that we embark on the fourth
year of a war based on lies -- a war that has taken the lives of over 2,300 U.S. troops
and tens of thousands of Iraqi children, women and men.

A moment of silence is not enough.

Our troops and the Iraqi people continue to be in harm’s way, our troops
continue to be deployed and re-deployed in an unjust and unjustifiable war –
returning with physical and psychological wounds if they come home at all.

Join Iraq Veterans Against the War, Military Families Speak Out, and
Veterans For Peace at the Convention Center
as they call on these Massachusetts politicians to stop business as usual,
show some leadership and speak out to:

Bring our Troops Home Now and Take Care of Them When They Get Here!
