Save the planet. Sign up for renewable energy with DTE

I just talked to my daughter Laura in Turkey. It�s been over 100 degrees there since she got back. Also, they are having a drought and they have been informed that the government is shutting off water in six days. It�s really a crisis from the sounds of it. So, she asked me to do what I can to conserve energy. I checked out the DTE Energy Green energy program and you can enroll on line. Below is the address. I hope you will consider taking this step and let me know if you have. Thanks for saving our planet. I�m going to enroll our household right now.

1. Done a couple of months ago

I did the 100% replacement for $.02 extra per KWH. Of course, I did it just before my most expensive electric bill ever. My usage from June 11 - July 11 was 62% higher than the same month last year -- was it really that much hotter? I was shocked because of all of the energy saving things I've been doing.

I just got a new fridge, washer and dryer this week, so hopefully I'll start seeing a real drop in my usage now (and it's also been cooler so far this month).
