Local 7(ABC-Detroit) part of TROOP CUT Blur
I'm sure many of you probably noticed that WXYZ here in Detroit ran ALL of thier segments about Petreaus' testimony with the TROOP CUT Graphic. This is a coordinated and willful action by the Sinclair Broadcasting group to continue to blur, appease, mollify and neuter opposition to Republican policies and the war in Iraq.

You can call or write WWW.WXYZ.com to complain about their distortion of Petreaus' testimony. The so called troop cut is not a cut at all but a required reduction in troops that was already noted 6 months ago by the Pentagon because the surge could not be maintained past the spring of '08. The troop cut is a sham, just the like surge. The surge was to kick the can to MAINTAIN THE SAME AMOUNT OF TROOPS IN IRAQ THROUGH 2008. After the troops are pulled back in the spring, there will still be 130,000 troops in Iraq, exactly the same amount that were there in November 2006. It has been a kick the can foreign policy to maintain a strong military posture in the middle east throughout the next 10 years or more.
