Oct 11-14 DETROIT STREET RETREAT. Join 11 others who, as a group, will bear witness to
homelessness by living on the streets of Detroit, having to beg for money, find places
to get food, shelter, use bathroom, etc. Participants will stay together as a group and
meet twice daily for meditation and sharing. Donation for the retreat is $350. All funds
will be donated: 2/3 to homeless service agencies in Detroit; 1/3 to the social action
missions of the Hudson River Peacemaker Community that sponsors the retreat leader.

I was at the health care forum this afternoon and plan to go to the Gray Panthers dinner Saturday. And there's no way I'll miss Randi on November 11. I found about all of these yesterday at a fundraiser for Carl.
