August primary?

So is this another chance to vote for the candidates for the presidency? I went to the web site they listed (www.michigan.gov/vote which lead me to http://www.mi.gov/sos/0,1607,7-127-1633_48760---,00.html) but couldn't find anything about the presidential candidates.

If they can pay to have this primary on August 5th, they should let us vote for the presidential candidates also. It's a little late in the primary season, but it's better than nothing.


On edit: the Democratic National Convention begins on August 25th.

This primary is for all the other races. This is nothing new.

Aside from that, it is very likely that the Dem nomination will be decided before our August primary.

be seated because of the illegal primary we had, why can't we just do it again in August, since we're having that primary anyway. It wouldn't cost any more to add their names and then our delegates would count.

I realize that this seems like a simple solution to me, but that the powers that be will not even consider it.

Heck they're even holding hotel rooms for MI & FLA. Don't ask me how I know, if I told ya I'd have to kill ya. ;-)

would yo support me? I have two sisters in Colorado, and I lived there for a couple years in the 1980's. Yes, we are all from here, Mt. Carmel Hosp. and all.

I think a redo is coming. The Barack Express demands it. I will ride for a few more days before I put my name in just to see how this all goes down.

That's the District convention I will be at on March 29.

I do not believe there will be a re-do and I am steadfastly against it. Big waste of money IMO. All the uncommitted delegates will/should go to Obama and that will just have to do.
