Heavy rain predicted on Eastern side of state on Nov 2nd
I hope this model flips and moves it to the west side...but as of now it looks mighty wet on wayne county and in the heart of the democratic base in Michigan.

:wtf:

1. that's why god created
umbrellas.

I would walk over broken glass and a plague of frogs to vote this year, and I'm in the bluest state in the nation.

2. I'm not terribly worried either
It might effect allot of older voters in the Detroit area. I still think Michigan is going Kerry, although anything bad isn't exactly desired this time around.

4. As a amature forecaster
I can attest to the fact that we can't be 100% accurate. Thats why everything is done by percentage. There is 100% change of a storm system on election day according to the models, although the path could vary up to 1000 miles east to west.

Weather isnt that hard to predict these days, considering a 100 mile path can make or break your day it might make it seem worse then it is. Thunderstorms are the hardest to predict, 10 mile wide storm cells tend to miss more then hit.

5. I have the rowboat set up in the yard ready for election day.
I'll run a rowboat voter shuttle service if necessary.

8. It appears the winds have shifted in our favor!
The forecast looks warm and dry for us, while the southern states look to be in for a rain storm.
Bye bye Bushie.
