WTVS Channel 56 and Bill Moyers' Journal......
Has anyone else noticed that Bill Moyers' Journal has been pushed to the 1 a.m. Sunday nite/Monday morning slot from its Sunday afternoon (1:30 p.m.) slot? An endless parade of "Change Your Life" self help programs and Yanni concerts has replaced it.
I fired off an email. Who the hell is in charge of programming?

1. I'm guessing: Low level, ex-CIA Church Commission escapee.
...same as usual.

Few weeks ago, found it opposite 10:30 Sunday morning cluster-muck. (What's one more show to watch during that time slot.)

They constantly try raising money for the programs they deem not good enough for raising the money.

I'm surprised I still have hair.

3. Moyers on Channel 56
According to his website, Bill Moyers is on most PBS stations in prime time Fridays. Channel 56 normally has him on 1:30 Sunday, a time when very few viewers are likely to see the program. Channel 56 has three digital broadcast channels, it would seem that they could reasonably air Moyers on one of them. Local cable and dish only have channel 56 as their only PBS station, which is unfortunate because Moyers is on Channel 28 in Flint at the normal time. I have emailed and called Channel 56 to complain, and inform them that my $300 annual contribution is going elsewhere in the future because of this. I believe the board and management of channel 56 are conservative, and don't want Moyers to be heard in Southeastern Michigan. I would encourage others to email email@dptv.org and call(248) 305-3788 Channel 56.

4. Everytime they call for money
I ask the same thing; "How do you expect me to give you money when you hide the most important show on television on a Sunday afternoon? I then tell them to call back when you put it on Friday nights like the rest of the network. I guess this is my reply, and another reason that they won't see one red cent from me, it's really ashame though, what a horrible PBS afilliate we have in Detroit, well that is unless you're curious about Yanni, channel 56 sucks big time!
