I'll bet he would have acted responsibly if there was a guarantee he had to pay for the succor and well-being of all those lives he indiscriminately 'fathered' (term loosely used). Most of these posts are 'poor guy', well what about those 14 kids who grew up without a father (at least full-time) and probably in a state of penury?
It wasn't just the woman/women who were fucked.

Shit happens. I don't mind the people's tax money used for things that can't be helped -- but this guy gamed the system --which happen to be all of us-- and now has to finally pay in one way or another. However, our own actions have consequences, most of us learn that by our majority. This piece of work shows not only (IMO psychopathic) lack of care, concern and guarantee of welfare towards the woman/women and children who have the misfortune of calling him Family; but also for society in general. In many ways he's the male equivalent of octomom.

Whatever happened to responsibility for our own actions? Does being 'poor' (if he wasn't such a deliberate ace at procreation one wonders how poor he would actually be) absolve him of such literally poor decisions?

Unless one believes he's got the most accurate and potent little swimmers in the world, and there's a CRITICAL shortage of birth control in Genesee County, we can double or triple the number of women who thought this guy was a "catch" -- or at least some kind of "prize" ... and didn't notice (or didn't care) that he wasn't wearing a condom!!

They wouldn't take the five grand he had on him for payment, put him in jail for six months that is a better idea. Imagine the number of people behind bars for Marijuana and Child support payments in Michigan, I bet it is close to forty percent of the prison population here in this crappy State.
