What Would DeLorean Say?
Edited on Thu Jun-04-09 09:42 AM by maddogesq
This guy predicted the demise of GM. I have always felt he was greatly under appreciated. And, he designed the GTO, plus that car that was used in "Back To The Future."

"The system and management are stifling initiative. Leadership and innovation are impossible," DeLorean said in the book.

More stinging words: "A fault that GM has had for a long time is its feeling that, since it sells more cars and trucks than anyone else in the world and makes far more money than any other automotive company, the GM way is the only way."</i>

This is stuff I have been saying for years, but it is nice to know that a guru like this saw the undoing long before I did.

1. "On A Clear Day You Can See General Motors" is a great book..
...if you want to know more about DeLorean's philosophy. Goes into greater detail about his conflicts with GM.
