Shy older border collie in Gladwin needs a home! On death row...

My heart aches for this sweetie. Our rescue group can't take her in because we have no foster homes available. The shelter worker we correspond with has gotten her a "stay of execution" until Monday... They're beyond full.

Hello, I came to the shelter as a stray on 8-26-09 and will be up for adoption on 9-2-09. I am about 7-9 years of age and about 35 pounds. I am a little on the shy side (but today is my first day!). I love to be in the office with the shelter workers - they gave me treats! Please come and give me a chance! If you are interested in giving me a forever home please contact the Gladwin County Animal Shelter at 989-426-4579. If the office is closed please leave a message and someone will call you back the next business day. Thank you for looking and thinking adoption first!

I don't know what else to tell you (I'm not in Michigan myself right now) but if you can somehow get the news to show her picture, maybe she'll find a home. Also, Comcast OnDemand has a place for adoptable pets.

2. Almost missed this

I thought it hadn't posted, it "hung" and timed out, so I hit post again. In my defense, I did check with another browser to see if it had shown up anyway, but it hadn't, at that time.

I'll check out the Comcast on-demand, though. I personally have WOW service, so I can't see it.
