Those are a couple of predicted ramifications of the Democrats' resounding victory in Tuesday's general election that pushed their majority from a tenuous 14-12 to a powerful 17-9.
There is also some thought that the Democrats will push for a county executive position, similar to those in Wayne and Oakland counties.
Sabaugh said Gillett, a former Republican member of the county board, may get dumped by the Democrats because of her close association with U.S. Rep. Candice Miller, R-Harrison Township, who headed the Bush re-election campaign in Michigan.
Don't worry Fran. I'm sure Candice will find a plumb tax-payer funded "job" for you to hold when you get fired. Well, that is, IF she isn't sent to jail for her part in the bribery/extortion scandal that she created along with Tom DeLay.
