The MEA is endorsing Bernero!
The Michigan Education Association has endorsed Democrat Virg Bernero for governor, giving the Lansing mayor another major labor boost.

...

The MEA, the state’s largest teachers union, represents 155,000 school employees and retirees.

“We have a long history of making sure our members make it to the polls – teachers and other employees are a big bloc of voters in this state,” said MEA spokesman Doug Pratt.

1. They didn't like Dillon *ucking with their health care benefits I guess....
Michigan will be LUCKY to have Bernero at the helm.

How about a Bernero /Alma Wheeler Smith ticket.?. Alma is a real budget insider, having served on the House Appropriations Committee for years.. Also, David Bonior has endorsed Bernero. That says a lot..
