1. Good news!
It's not my district, but I would love to see "Toilet Joe" forced into retirement by the voters in his district.

I feel very fortunate. When I lived in Detroit, from 89-01, Conyers was my congressman. When I moved to Warren, Bonior was for the first year, then we were redistricted into Sander Levin's district. He's a great congressman.

I liked Conyers because he was willing to take principled stands on things most people don't care about, like stopping rape by staff at Michigan prisons, and civil rights for kids in the juvenile justice system.

2. I can't figure out how to recommend the diary
only individual comments to it. There's no"recommend" for the whole diary, unless I'm blind.

5. right side
Don't scroll down the diary at all, on the right side of your screen above the advertising, theres an orange rectangle that says "Recommend Diary". There is usually a Gray button you click to recomend it. But that goes away after a while and it might say time has expired to recomend this diary- that way only current stuff gets recomended.

Today's post won't get enough recomends, but its no biggie! Plenty of people saw it, and Nancy is now just 11 cents away from raising $61k via ActBlue!

6. Nope -- no such button on my screen
I swear there isn't. I know it's no biggie, but now I'm on a mission to figure it out.

7. Any other polls from this race?
This sounds too good to be true. With a semi-moderate like Godcheaux getting trounced in the primary, it is hard to believe Skinner would do well against Knollenberg.

8. primary explained
Godchaux got trounced by Republicans in the primary. Democrats came out strong for Skinner. Skinners primary votes plus Godchauxs are within spitting distance of Knollenberg's, and thats with god awful turnout.

You can only vote on one side of the ballot in a primary, Republican or Democrat. Godchaux was hoping for Democrats to vote in the Republican primary for her. They didn't.

I haven't seen other polls for this race. Even though these are internal polls released by the Skinner Team, they were conducted by Lauer Research. The fact that Knollenberg, who has been polling Nancy since before the primary, has yet to release any internal polls speaks volumes.

This poll is the real deal, unless Knollenberg wants to release an internal that proves us otherwise.
