TIGERS WIN THE PENNANT!!!!!!!!!!
Way to go, Tigers. I knew Maggs would hit that walk-off homerun when he came up in the 9th. No way were they going to have to play again tomorrow.

7. Woo hoo -- we're really beating up on Penn State
And it looks like USC and Florida could both lose -- or at least not win by much. The announcers think we could move up to #2 this week. That really will make the OSU game even more important this year. I just hope we can avoid any losses before then -- We've got Iowa, Northwestern and Ball State (why they put that on the schedule so late in the season, I still don't understand).

8. OhowIhateohiostate.
If the Tigers win the World Series, Michigan wins the National Championship and Dems take one or both houses of Congress and Granholm sends DeVos back to GR, it will be a truly perfect year.

And we're part way there!

14. Ball State moved the game to Michigan's bye week so they could add
a twelfth game (Vanderbilt). It was actually gracious of Ball State to do so. Michigan wanted to add a 12th game to help them in the national rankings picture, because so many other teams have 12 games due to their conference playoffs. I would prefer that the Big Ten added the 12th game by playing every team in the conference, but I suppose some schools don't want to play Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State every year.

10. Someone pinch me and tell me this is not a dream.
You know, a friend of my nephew went to some Vegas sports book at the beginning of the season and bet $100 at 100-1 that the Tigers would win the World Series. Can I be that guy's financial adviser? :)

18. Yes, it does
The airport will be busy, I'm sure. I believe the game starts at 7:30 Saturday night, or sometime around then.

How long will you be in town for and what part of town will you be in?

22. How I wish
I could do that, it would be fantastic to meet!

My situation is that my niece and her family have made me promise that I will spend every waking hour until I get on the plane with them. :)

I haven't seen them in two years so I belong to them on this visit.

I'll probably come back in the summer, so I'll email you and see if we can hook up then.

Txs!

I think there will be a lot of pregame festivities going on.
