I hope all is well. I just wanted to let you know that we have great news for Tony, Michigan's 11th and all Democrats - polling is showing Tony within 3-5 points and we haven't spent a dime yet!

Due to the closeness of this race we are cancelling all upcoming events other than scheduled radio and tv interviews. This includes our PDA G.O.T.V. event in Livonia this Sunday, our town hall meeting on national security and all other appearances by Tony.

I beg you to please be understanding as I know this affects so many of you who have supported us through thick and thin. We must use the next two weeks to do nothing but voter contact. It is the only way we can win. This is my decision solely and again - I certainly hope you understand why we have to change direction. Tony and our staff just don't have the time to put together and drive people to events. We have to use these people on the ground.
