Bonoff to run for District 43 Senate Seat
From the Sun-Sailor, 10/6/05

Minnetonka resident Terri Bonoff has announced she plans to run for the District 43 Senate seat. The seat was left vacant when Plymouth resident David Gaither resigned to become gov. Time Pawlenty's new chief of staff. The seat represents areas of Minnetonka and Plymouth.

Bonoff will run as a Democrat for the seat. Plymouth Mayor Judy Johnson, who also announced intentions to run for the seat, is running as a Republican.

Bonoff is a community activist and has served on the Hopkins Education Foundation, the Friends Board at the Minneapolis Institute of Art and is a member of the Minnetonka Planning Commission.

Pawlenty has yet to announce a dat for a special election to fill the vacant seat.
