Senator Coleman takes credit for...
http://www.startribune.com/stories/587/5733707.html

The AP runs a funny story today with the revealing headling: "Coleman says he helped block U.N. attempt to take over Internet"

"Coleman says he helped?"

The AP writer kicks off his article this way: Sen. Norm Coleman took credit Thursday for helping the United States prevent the United Nations from taking over the Internet at a technology summit this week.

"Took credit?" Ouch. You'd think the AP reporter could attempt to hide his skepticism.

A U.N. spokesperson wasn't quite sure what Senator Coleman was talking about: "I don't know how much one person influenced the process,'' he said, adding, "The U.N. was never trying to take control of the Internet.''

Well done, Senator Coleman.
