White House and Mark Kennedy caught misusing taxpayer money...
The Minnesota blog, http://www.mnpublius.com/, has caught Mark Kennedy and the Republican White House spending taxpayer money on a campaign event.

In August, the White House's Office of National Drug Control Policy announced it would launch an advertising campaign against using meth. And Minneapolis was chosen as one of 23 cities where the campaign would run.

On Monday, the White House's Office of National Drug Control Policy hosted an event in St. Cloud to kick off the advertising campaign. Republican Congressman Mark Kennedy headlined the event.

TWO QUESTIONS MARK KENNEDY AND THE WHITE HOUSE NEED TO ANSWER:

1. If the White House selected Minneapolis, which is represented by Democrat Martin Sabo, to participate in the program, why did the kick off event occur in St. Cloud, which is represented by Republican Mark Kennedy?

2. And more importantly, why was Congressman Kennedy the only member of the Minnesota delegation invited to this official, non-partisan event?

It is a violation of federal law to use taxpayer dollars for campaign activities.

1. How much do you think it will cost local taxpayers...
...to pay for security for Junior's visit here in December to raise hundreds of thousands for Kennedy's campaign? I'm surprised they aren't trying to pass off his trip here as a "policy speech." Or have they?

2. Mark Kennedy's boss coming to MN
"Thousands?"

National Republicans and the corporate elite don't bother with anything less than seven figures.

The exclusive, invite-only Bush event will be considered a MAJOR failure if it brings anything less than one million dollars for Mark Kennedy.

But you should not consider million dollar fundraisers as payoffs to Republicans for the multiple tax cuts they have handed the wealthy driving our nation deep into debt. No.

They are a down payment for the tax cuts yet to come.

Mr. Prendergast has an enjoyable rendition of the event here...

4. Someone should get the MSM to look into this
They didn't even invite the mayor of St. Cloud? Isn't he a Republican?
