Minnesotans - have an opinion you want to give on camera?

"Current TV" is asking the public to submit videos.

It can be as simple as someone talking into the camera for 2 minutes expressing an opinion on an issue. (Called "Current Rant.")

Even if they don't put it on TV, they will put it on their website.

I'm interested in doing the filming and editing.

If there is a subject you'd like to sound off about, post on this thread or PM me.

I was watching this weekend and they did a part about the counter-recruitment movement here in Minneapolis, and they aired a piece with Ty, the head of Socialist Alternative here in the Twin Cities, the campus group that did most of the work putting the walkout together a few months ago. It was the first time I was ever watching TV and just radomly happened to see a friend of mine.

I'm more than a bit camera shy, though.

2. Election reform! There may be a senator who will sponsor

a senate companion to HF 550.

While we're waiting for that to happen, there is some other election fraud news that's not being reported. Bob Ney, who is a central figure in the Abramoff scandal, has been holding HF 550 (the Gold Standard in election reform) hostage in his committee. Now that he's in deep doo-doo, there may be some movement.

I've been doing some communications for VoteTrustUSA nationally and with Citizens for Election Integrity-MN within the state. Between the two of us we should be able to come up with something concise and cogent. I'll PM my contact info.
