Amy Klobuchar to be on MPR 11am Thurs 2/23/06

Just a heads up that Amy Klobuchar will be on MPR's Midday program at 11am tomorrow (Thurday Feb 23 2006). Let's see what she brings to the table.

I will be listening to this later as I was unable to listen live while I was at work today.

Edit: Just a heads up, Ford Bell will be on tomrrow (Friday 2/24) at 11am on Midday.

I also caught the end of the Klobuchar broadcast, they announced we will hear Republican Mark Kennedy next Friday March 3 on Midday.

2. I caught part of the interview

I turned it off after she gave the same tired Iraq answer. She was opposed to the war, but now that we're there we have to stay to finish the job, blah, blah, blah. Another song I heard 35 years ago. If I see her at my Senate District Convention I'll have to ask her how many names she thinks should go on the next Wall.

Oh, she once again did say she's opposed to any permanent bases in Iraq (Gee, that sure makes her position easier to take :sarcasm:). That's when I turned her off.

3. I was at Wilde Roast today and Amy was doing something live

They came in after I did and I had my back to them and didn't see who it was until I stood up to leave and turned around. Couldn't catch her eye I was just going to giver her a thumbs up. Anybody know what she was broadcasting? There was a camera and fancy mikes, the kind that kill background noise.

First time in three years I got out for coffee but my daughter-in-laws mother was in town and I met her there.
