I watched the Presidential debate tonight, and I just want to say thank you to John Kerry.
Not only did Senator Kerry exhibit the extraordinary courage and calm under pressure that he's developed over his years as a combat veteran, Attorney General and Senator, he clearly showed the clarity of vision and resolute form that will make him an exceptional President of the United States of America.
After watching this debate, I will be proud to call him President John Kerry.

Would you vote for Eddie Haskell for President?
Neither would I. I couldn't get that image out of my mind as I watched George Bush wriggle and squirm on the podium, especially when Senator Kerry was speaking. Bush rolled his eyes, bit his lip, squinted, and sighed. When Bush answered a question, it sounded like he was trying to explain to Mrs. Cleaver why he stole Beaver's cookies.
That's not the man I want to be President of the United States.

Just as Franklin Roosevelt didn't attack Mexico after Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese, so too was attacking Iraq a diversion from the War on Terror.
I deeply appreciate Senator John Kerry's pointing out to President Bush the mistake in rushing into war in Iraq, miring our troops in a quagmire there, spending billions of dollars, all while letting Osama bin Laden escape.
Senator John Kerry proved tonight in the Presidential debate why he deserves to be the next President of the United States of America.
