Obama running an ad for the caucuses February 5
I saw it last night during Letterman. I can't recall any presidential candidate ever running an ad in Minnesota before the caucuses. Usually they save their money to spend on states with more delegates.

2. I have gotton calls & mail from both Clinton & Obama
anyone who is on any DFL party or candidate's list should be getting these, but the TV ad really surpised me.

The last call from Obama's people really irked me. They went right into their spiel and then asked for $150. At least Clinton's calls have been limited to am I caucusing and for whom. Both campaigns sound surprised when I tell them I'm supporting Edwards - who I haven't heard from (of course, having dial up does cut down on those calls).

3. I saw one the other day, too.
I think we're getting these ads now because we've become a Super Tuesday state. Hillary turned up on my caller ID yesterday (and if I'd answered the phone and a live person were on the line, they'd have gotten an earful), and I got a flyer from the Obama campaign in today's mail. Nevertheless, I'm going to caucus for Edwards.
