Any info on protests for RNC is appreciated!
Hey there! I was hoping to get in the loop for the protests coming for the RNC. I wasn't sure if you have to sign up with a group, or just go to St. Paul. Any sites, organizations or other info would be much appreciated!

Cheers!:toast:

On September 1st from noon to seven the SEIU will be holding the "Take Back Labor Day Rally" on Harriet Island with performances by Tom Morello, Steve Earle, Billy Bragg, Mos Def, Atmosphere, and others.

On September 2nd an event called "The Ripple Effect 08" will be taking place on the State Capital Lawn from 12:30 to 7:00. It will include performances by Anti-Flag, Michael Franti and Spearhead, and Dead Prez, among other speakers and musical performances.

Here are some websites with more details:

On edit: It should be noted that while "The Ripple Effect" event is free, there is a $10 charge to get into the "Take Back Labor Day" event.
