MIA Congresswoman Michele Bachmann at the State Fair Wednesday
http://dumpbachmann.blogspot.com/2008/08/michele-bachmann-at-state-fair.html

Michele Bachmann hasn’t held a single public meeting in the 6th CD since being elected. So if you’ve been holding onto your questions for Michele for two years, here’s your opportunity to ask her.

Bachmann is appearing at the KKMS-AM radio booth at the fair on Wednesday at 3 p.m. to discuss “Issues Facing America.” That seems to leave it wide open—from questions about the secret Iranian plan to divvy up Iraq to her campaign to save the incandescent light bulb from extinction to her coffee klatches with the caribou in ANWR.

So drop by the good Christian broadcasting booth and say hello to our M.I.A. congresswoman. It’s located at Judson and Clough streets on the fairgrounds—appropriately enough right near the sheep barn. Here’s a map:

1. I would expect KKMS will be told to take only "approved" questions
They probably will not just take the microphone out to the audience at the fair for spontanious questions, they will probably have pre-selected questions which fit.

It is also interesting (but expected) that KKMS is plugging interviews with Normy and Pawlenty on their web site (besides Michelle), and also plan to broadcast from the RNC. Some nonapartisan "Christian" station, just change the call letters to WWTC or KTLK while they are at it. :puke:

:hi: to Jason Lewis' producers, plug us anytime

3. I bet she will try
She will probably have some handlers/bouncers blaze a trail for her.

4. What if she hides behind the shrubbery
like she did that time she was trying to avoid being noticed by a GLBT group at the Capitol?

7. My Pics from the Fair
http://dodgerdigital.smugmug.com/gallery/5789637_K38Pe

I did not see a Michelle Bachmann booth but did not see one for any of the other Reps, either.
Obama had a presence in the DFL booth but also had one of his own about a block north that was doing brisk business.
McCain's was doing some business, not as much the couple of times we passed by. Norm Coleman's was dead but Franken's was busy. His daughter was there.
The blonde lady in many of the pictures is Mrs. Dodger. She wanted to do the People Powered Newscast for Ch. 4, riding the bikes to generate electricity.

8. Seems the publicity scared Michele off
She cancelled her State Fair KKMS appearance, citing a "family emergency." This isn't the first time this has happened. I wonder if she also cancelled her work with the GOP Platform Committee today?

11. As a matter of fact, it is!
That's Michele, sucking off the teat of the taxpayer--her congressional salary and her farm subsidies!
