As a POW in Vietnam, I suffered years of torture and humiliation at the hands of my captors.
But even on my lowest days in that dark place, a place seemingly void of even the slightest glimmer of human decency, I was lifted up by a shining light from above. My faith in God sustained me, protected me and gave me the strength to endure.
And my faith during those days reinforced my respect for human dignity, human rights and the value of the human life.

As you can imagine, we were shocked to learn he had been a POW (really, if Biden dared, he could now say about McCain, "a noun, a verb, and POW").
Several years ago Muzz told some pollster that she was prolife and since then she gets all sorts of trashy literature - or maybe his campaign got hold of a parish list (is that legal?) we're guessing that's why she received this. The Old One was not impressed by it and did remark "He must really think people are stupid."
