1. Too close to call
but we have an Independent Party candidate that's mucking things up by polling 13%. He's probably hurting Franken more than Coleman.

2. It will come election time
Any Independence Party voters who are DFL leaning often vote Independence Party, most Republicans with IP leanings chicken out at the voting booth and do not go through with it.

3. He is still behind, but just barely.
The last poll I saw had him just a single percentage point behind Coleman, and the momentum has been going his way. I think his chances are very good, but it will be a nail biter.
