2. Since I cannot lie and I really dislike Frankin, I am asking how to defeat Coleman?

3. Things you can do to defeat Norm Coleman are...
a) Vote for Al Franken
b) Donate to Al Franken
c) Volunteer for Al Franken
d) Send a link to the Hillary Clinton "60 Votes" video to people who might be persuaded by it:

If you chose to do none of those things because you dislike Al Franken, then I guess you won't be helping to defeat Norm Coleman.

4. This was a serious question.
Wouldn't it have been easier to ignore my post or to think a little and come up with a real answer than make it so I have to run Al down to defend my post? Just asking but here goes.

With Coleman's record almost any serious contender could have defeated him but Franken has too much of an image problem and not enough experience.

I will hold my nose and vote for Al Franken, this time.

Donating to Al will not make any difference at this point. If he had something more on Coleman he would have said it before people started tuning out all political ads. I have been donating to the food shelf as much as I can.

I did the volunteer thing with other candidates that I believed in, Kerry, Gore, Wellstone.
"Yeah, he has no political experience, we hate his shtick, everyone I know feels the same way but vote for him anyway" Think they will let me volunteer?

I forward very seldom and to a very few people. I hate spam sent to me. I do not forward Hillary to anyone. She is OK as a Senator. I would not have voted for her for President.

5. You can volunteer for Obama...
...and indirectly help defeat Norm Coleman by getting Democrats to the polls.

6. Good answer
We can't afford another republican in the White House regardless of the make up of the Senate.

8. You've already said you're going to vote for Franken
although begrudgingly.

If you don't "believe in" the candidate, I'm unclear how much more you'd feel like doing.

7. Get over your dislike. He's the candidate. He's very smart. He believes in facts and
isn't afraid to hold people accountable. He's got plenty of experience in debate and knows the issues well. He'll make a great senator. Coleman sat on his ass and let the country go down the toilet...how much experience does the replacement have to have to do better than that.
